Hard women - Disney edition: Inspired by (X

lotrconfessions:

I hate when people give Legolas a hard time for his expressionwhen Boromir dies. Yes, he looks curious, as if he’s thinking,Well that’s unfourtunate! but they always seem to forget heisn’t human. he doesn’t feel things the same way we do.

People really think that when watching that scene? Oh come on, guys, that’s ridiculous! I mean, for real. I think Legolas looks really sad in that shot, considering that Boromir behaved like a dick in front of the fellowship (not saying that he truly was a dick, on the contrary - I like Boromir!). Maybe he appears to be a little indifferent because of his Elven countenance, alright, but did you never notice that Elves in general are very composed, wise, old creatures that don’t show emotions that clearly in front of others? That doesn’t mean that they don’t feel sorry or sad, not at all - they are simply not that short-tempered and blunt towards others as humans or dwarves. Does that really make them heartless or anything? I don’t think so.
Sorry for the little rant, guys, but I just hate how people tend to pass judgement so easily on characters without really thinking about it at all!

loki-heartbreaker:

“I care not if you never forgive me. I care not if you never love me. Hate me. Kill me. But never doubt that I love you.”
